My practice is founded on an exploration of abstraction through process using painting, printmaking, photography, collage and model making. I am fascinated the actuality of paint, and the trickery of illusion and frontally, the what happens to and with paint in the studio. However, I aim to balance a cyclical pattern of real world / studio / real world, emulating processes and mark making evident in both rural and urban landscapes.
